LA BEAUTÉ SOI Hand Crafted Vegan Makeup Brushes

 LA BEAUTÉ SOI

I was so excited to finally be able to try this brand of Makeup Brushes. I was using just any kind of Makeup Brush that I could find until I came across an article about 2 years ago about what some of the Main Line Brush Companies use to make their brushes. I was appalled. BUT that's for another article. Since then, I try to only use Cruelty Free, Vegan and Environmentally friendly Brushes. I fell in love with this Indie brand almost immediately and LA BEAUTÉ SOI became my go-to favorite brand.

A portion of all their sales are donated to Charities that are aligned with their values each month including UNICEF, ASPCA and The Nature Conservancy. Here are 4 more great reasons you should choose LA BEAUTÉ SOI as your new go-to favorite Makeup Brush Company-

  1. Cruelty-Free & Vegan - This company is completely Cruelty-Free and Vegan because they believe that 'enhancing one's beauty shouldn't come at the cost of an innocent animals life, be it big or small.'
  2. Brushes are Hand Crafted - All of their Brushes go through 2 different sequences of cuts: First machine cut, then they are hand trimmed by their Brush Artisans.
  3. They are Hypoallergenic - Their non porous, plush brushes transfer less bacteria because of their high grade synthetic fibers making them perfect for sensitive skin.
  4. They are Family Owned - LA BEAUTÉ SOI as a family, have over 20 years of experience in their industry. They are the newest brand under OFFA Beauty. The name "LA BEAUTÉ SOI" is named after the Founder, Soi Park. It's also French for "Beautiful Self"

-Ensemble Brush Sets-
-Barbie Pink Set & Tropical Teal Set-

Each Ensemble comes with 10 brushes. Each set has enough brushes for a basic full face of makeup. These 2 sets are a bit different with the Barbie Pink Set being 'Kabuki Style' brushes and the Tropical Teal Set having 'High Grade Dense' brushes. They apply makeup, liquid, cream and powder flawlessly. Here is a list of each brush and their uses -

Barbie Pink Ensemble - Purchase it (HERE) $26.99

Round Kabuki -
This is a Powder type Foundation/Blush Brush. With it having shorter bristles it applies my Setting Powder without fluffing it all over the place. I think it's a bit too big for Blush, at least it is on my face.

Angled Blush Kabuki -
Powder type Foundation/Blush Brush also. I use this brush to apply Blush mostly but it has a perfect shape for Contour as well. It fits right under my cheekbones and over the apples of my cheeks for Blush or Contour.

Flat Top Kabuki -
Cream type Foundation. I use this brush to Bake under my eyes. It is firm so it applies Cream Foundation almost like an Air-Brush finish. I like to use this brush for Cream Blush as well. The bristles fit right over the apples of my cheeks.

Fan Brush
This works well with any finish of Highlight. I use it for Highlight everywhere. It works well for highlighting my nose the most because it is thin enough to line my nose. It fits right under my lower lash line as well.

Oval Shadow Brush -
Eye-shadow Brush. I use this brush for packing vibrant colors on. It works well with Loose Pigments. It doesn't drop a bunch of fall-out on my cheeks. It holds the product very well.

Angled Shadow -
Eye-shadow Brush. I really like to use this brush for the outer corners of my eyes. It fits perfect in the corners of my eyelid so it works wonders for a Smokey Eye Look. It doesn't drop fall-out either.

Concealer Brush -
Concealer and Glitter. This brush holds glitter really well. I like to use it to apply product on my lower lash line. It also works great for detail. It applies concealer to frame my eyebrows with great precision.

Angled Liner -
Eyebrow & Eyeliner. I don't really use this brush often but it's thin enough for fine detail. When I do use it, I use it for a bold Cat Eye or Winged Eyeliner Look.

Pencil Brush
Multi-Purpose Lip & Precision. I use this brush for Concealer around my Eyebrows. It's thin and firm. It can be used for many different looks. I like to also use it for applying highlight or sparkle to the inner corners of my eyes. It is perfect size for that.

Spoolie Brush -
Eyebrow Shaper. I actually use this brush on my lashes after I apply Mascara to remove clumps. It also works great to tame your brows and set them in place. I have used brushes like this one to apply Hair Spray to my little frizzy Hairs that wont stay down on their own when wearing a Ponytail.

Tropical Teal Set - Purchase it (HERE) $26.99

Sculpting Brush -
Cream Type Foundation & Highlight / Bronzer. This brush has short bristles so it works great with cream products. It has the perfect shape to fit right under your cheekbones and to contour your Jawline. I use it with my Huda Beauty 3D Highlight/Bronzer Palette that has a cream to powder type formula.

Flat Shader Brush -
Eye-Shadow Type Brush. This brush is the perfect shape for shading the outer corners of you eyelid and through the fold of your eye. I like using it with one of the darker shadows that I'm using for that look to add more depth to the look.

Blending Brush
-
Eye-Shadow Type Brush. This brush has a tad bit longer bristles that the Shader Brush which makes blending much easier. It blends out or smokes out any eye look. I like to use this brush without adding more product to it, in little circular motions until I get the blend that I'm going for.

Precision Brush -
Multi-Purpose Lip & Precision Type Brush. This brush works wonders with Glitter and applying product to my lower lash line. It has super firm dense bristles for any precise look your going for.

My Conclusion - So after trying Vegan Brushes, I am definitely hooked on them. They work just as well or better than most brushes. I can buy and use this brand of brushes guilt free since with every purchase they donate a portion of it to Charity. They are super affordable too so I absolutely recommend you at least check them out! They are completely worth the purchase.
